Birthday

A little late i know...but i blogged right???
my adorable roommate TAMORI decorated our apartment for my birthday while i was gone in pennsylvania! so here are some pictures of what she did...

blood sister

i totally blame panda for this one!

here's the story..so one night i was doing my daily checkups and was looking at panda's blog about her friend, Misty, that was in pennsylvania visiting. So my roommate Katie comes walking in and asked who was with panda. I explained to katie how panda and misty have been best friends forever, and how their daughters were born on the same day, etc. etc. I also remembered (if i remember right..) that panda showed me pictures of her and misty back in college when they decided to become blood sisters. I told katie that story and she immediately went in her bathroom, got a safety pin, and wanted to become blood sisters! HA! that's right. me and katie are blood sisters now all thanks to panda and misty. so here are some pictures...we were scared, but it was hilarious and totally worth it!

I had so much fun in pennsylvania. I'm jealous that my parents are still out there partying! we went to hershey, PA and saw chocolate world, watched noa dance, played patty cake with mace, tried to get jack to talk, ate several delicious dinners made by yuri, celebrated birthdays, went to roots, went to central market, played supermarket sweep, ate cake and ice cream, and had a work party.

it was a good week.

VEGAS

i know i know..it's been over a month since we went to vegas and i'm FINALLY posting the pictures....sorry! it's been crazy down here in orem with work, and school getting over, and now working on finals! whew..can't wait for summer! anyways..we took way too many pictures for me to post all of them on here so here's a link to view an album! we had so much fun in vegas....we went swimming, chilled by the pool (got a nice tan) went to BLUE MAN GROUP! (incred) ate at hard rock, in-n-out, walked the strip and went shopping! it was a wonderful spring break for us, us as in me tamori and katie! mom and dad drove down with us and we stayed in the trendwest resort...it was beautiful! we had a super fun trip, tons of pictures taken, inside jokes made and memories to last a lifetime!

Katie's big 19th birthday palooza!

(alright so here's a huge load of pictures) HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE COTTRELL!! so for katie's birthday on the 16th, we had a fabulous no-school/birthday dinner/partay day! Katie went home for the weekend so tamori and I decided to decorate our place for katie's birthday. it was perfect not having there so we could totally deck it out! When she came home on monday, we surprised her with all the decorations, a birthday cake, presents and her favorite flowers! We then went to dinner at Macaroni Grill ( delicious ) there we dined on their amazing bread, and kalamari (sp?) aka SQUID! It was tamori, katie, me and scott that all went to dinner. (scott came because he works at chili's, which means he gets a 50% discount at Macaroni Grill...cha ching! and we also love the kid :) ) later everyone came over for our chocolate fountain buffet! We had two chocolate fountains going, one white chocolate and the other milk chocolate, strawberries, bananas, cake bites, marshmallows, pretzels, cinnamon bears, rice crispy treats etc! and of course to top it all off, BIRTDAY CAKE! Katie has the best roommates ever :)

girls + superbowl...

yes...we here living in 324 had a superbowl party. and yes we watched the game...kinda! seeing that we had no side to cheer for, no idea what rules were what, a late night before (i had to wake up to drive my parents to the airport at 430 am :) ) so we only made it through the 1st 15 minutes of the game before we all fell asleep! all of us being katie, me and tamori! but we did happen to wake up for the last 2 minutes...which is the most important part of the game anyway! so way to go steelers...even though i was cheering for the cardinals ( go nate! ) it was a pretty good day! we had 7 layered bean dip thanks to mom, multigrain chips ( DELICIOUS ) strawberry mango juice, veggies and dip, and cupcakes decorated for the steelers and cards!
